Francisco Verdún publishes the article "The possible infingement of the European Union law by the UEFA Financial Fair Play regulations" in one if the most prestigious European Union law journals (Aranzadi Unión Europea,number 6, June 2017).
Starting from the assumption that Financial Fair Play regulations fall under the scope of European Union law, this article analyzes the posible non-compliance of the said rules with the European Union law, particularly, with respect to articles 101 and 102 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union in connection with principles of proportionality and legality as well as with the right to an effective judicial protection and principle of effectiveness.
